This is a fantasy assignment. I'm a big blues fan and one of the highlights of the summer is the Philadelphia River Blues Festival at Penn's Landing. John Lee Hooker, Buddy Guy, Albert Collins, you name'em, I've seen a lot of great performances there. I did this poster when I was really getting heavily into Illustrator. I used a photo of Buddy Guy that I had taken at the festival as reference, and really went to town on making a big bold color statement.
