I ride a Honda Shadow Aero. It is smooth as butter and has a style that turns heads at every stoplight.
I am also a member of the Christian Motorcylists Association. It is a
ministry that reaches out to the motorcyling community for Christ, by going to rallies, attending other club's meetings,
or just riding with other bikers. Its great fellowship, but most of all its a way to share the joy of riding and
the joy that comes with knowing Jesus Christ. CMA has a great handout, that contemplates the scenario if Jesus where to
be conducting his ministry today, rather than 2000 years ago. He was often seen associated with prostitutes and tax collectors,
the dregs of society in those days. Well, today, many people look at bikers in the same light. If Jesus were walking the earth
today, he just might be a biker.
Jesus the Biker
He was a lot like you and me.
The government didn't like him.
The church thought he was weird.
His friends were few.
What friends he had, denied him.
He was persecuted by hypocrites.
He hung around people like you and me,
not the goody-two-shoes Pharisees.
Yes, if Jesus were on this earth in the flesh,
he would be next to you on his motorcycle
telling you He loved you...
enough to die for you.
